Andrew Crummy’s Scottish Diaspora Tapestry Talk
19th July 2017

Andrew Crummy will give a talk at Innerpeffray Library on the 19th July.  As the designer who drew out The Scottish Diaspora Tapestry, he will explain the community arts process used, all those involved and the impact it has made. The artwork begins to tell the story from 34 countries of how Scots have travelled around the world and the impact they have made. Andrew was born in Craigmillar Edinburgh studied at Duncan of Jordanstone and Glasgow Colleges of Art. He became an illustrator in London, developed into murals and public art, then designed Tapestries including the Great Tapestry of Scotland.
