The excitement is definitely building with the project team here in Prestonpans, as work on the Diaspora Tapestry is taking shape across the globe following our latest round of international visits. But whilst all that activity continues, we’re preparing to reveal the results of the Swedish and Italian efforts at an exhibition next week!
The completed panels will be displayed alongside the project’s big brother, The Battle of Prestonpans Tapestry, which is on display in Prestonpans Community Centre as part of the annual Three Harbours Arts Festival. This renowned festival runs all week and sees many of the buildings around Prestonpans, Cockenzie and Port Seton becoming venues for the arts in their broadest forms.
