Scottish Minister goes on the ground in India, and helps promotes the Diaspora Tapestry!
Scotland’s Minister for External Affairs and International Development, Mr Hamza Yousaf, led a delegation to India last month.
Representatives from Scotland’s Homecoming were there too of course, promoting links between the two countries, and explaining the relevance of the Diaspora Tapestry project at the same time. Delegates were shown presentations and images of the tapestry’s emerging India panels, and took away information on the Tapestry to further their interest.
News of the Tapestry was greeted with enthusiasm, and there was plenty of press coverage of the Minister’s visit too – on television (as above) and in the Assignments Abroad Times below (see bottom for a readable version of the article on the Tapestry!).
