This year (2024) marks TEN YEARS since the Tapestry’s world premiere exhibition, held at Prestonpans Community Centre in East Lothian. Since then, the Tapestry has grown considerably in size and covered countless thousands of miles as it has travelled the world for exhibitions. To celebrate this milestone, we are holding a series of special exhibitions.

15-17 March 2024
A chance to view the whole Tapestry in a single venue – the maginificent early 18th century palace of the Dukes of Buccleuch.
The palace is sited just south of Edinburgh, in the midst of beautiful parkland.
This special exhibition lasts only 3 days, so be sure to take the chance to visit if you can! It will be open from 11am-4pm on Friday 15th, Saturday 16th, and Sunday 17th March.
The tapestry’s panels will be displayed across a range of rooms on the ground floor of the palace, and there’ll be a range of tapestry-related books and souvenirs available to help support the project. There will even be a pop-up cafe too.
No booking is required, and there is a recommended donation of £5 for visitors.
