This was a long awaited but very welcome first at Dalkeith Palace. The APP has been updated to provide ready access as well and some amendments made.
The volunteers team from Prestonpans Museum were able to offer comprehensive support as did the staff provided by the Palace. The exhibition had some financial support from the Scottish Government’s ‘Scottish Connections’ team towards unavoidable additional costs involved in hanging and interpretation boards.
The activity segmentation used here for the first time is expected to become a regular feature for future displays after the 10th Anniversary concludes in October in Helmsdale.
