Anchor Mill, Paisley

DIRECTIONS:

Anchor Mill is a large riverside mill, very easy to find but a little trickier to get to!
By car:
The postcode for a satellite navigation system is PA1 1JR.
Paisley is just off the M8. From the east and from Glasgow exit at junction 27 and follow the A741 (Renfrew Road) to the town centre.
From the west, exit at junction 39 (St. James Interchange) and follow the A741 (Renfrew Rd) to the town centre.
Parking for up to 4 hours is available at the Morrisons car park next to the Anchor Mill building. Parking at Anchor Mill itself s extremely limited.

By train:
There are around 10 trains an hour linking Paisley Gilmour Street station with Glasgow Central Station. Two trains an hour go to Paisley Canal station. Both stations are a short walk to the Anchor Mill building and the routes are signposted.

By bus:
Many bus services link Paisley with the surrounding area and Glasgow. Firstgroup and McGill’s buses are the main companies. Firstgroup have an app that can be downloaded with information about buses. McGill’s have a website with updates – www.mcgillsmobile.co.uk. Both companies have websites: www.mcgillsbuses.co.uk and www.firstgroup.com. Both buses take cash on the buses, exact change is needed for Firstgroup.
The buses stops on Gauze Street and on Lonend – both of which are a short walk to the Anchor Mill building and the route is signposted.
